PANV receives a $50,000 grant from the AETNA Foundation—PANV was recently awarded a $50,000 grant from the Aetna Foundation. This funding is pivotal to continue recruiting volunteer physicians to deliver specialty medical care to “safety net” patients. Dr. William A. Fried, AETNA Medical Director, Mid-Atlantic Region presented the check to PANV’s leadership at a recent reception.

Music for Medicine is the signature annual event of the MSNVA Foundation in partnership with George Mason University. 100% of the proceeds support PANV.
Last year’s event was a tremendous success—the MSNVA Foundation raised more than $24,000 from sponsors and ticket sales. More than 800 people attended, guests were treated to a potpourri of classical selections under the direction of Maestro Anthony Maiello, PHD and other conductors, including one of our own, Dr. Russell Libby.
The third annual Music for Medicine took place on April 7, 2009 at the George Mason Center for Performing Arts. For Sponsorship opportunities for 2010, please contact John Richards, MSNVA Executive Director at 703.934.8818 or jrichards@msnva.org.
